1/21/2024 Garrett Brewer of Howard, Scout Troop #344, upon completion of his Eagle Scout

project was awarded the Eagle Scout Award and Certificate.

He had built a “Stretching Station” at the Kokosing Gap Bike Trailhead on Trail Drive in Danville.

 No Littering Sign

On the 21st. of November 2022, Danville Council passed Ordinance 2022-5 establishing a $250.00 fine for LITTERING in the Village of Danville. We are leaving this posting on our website to remind the public of this new law.  Enforcement of the NO LITTERING law is in effect.

The Municipal Building is open to the public. We request that all visitors entering the building adhere to all the COVID-19 health protocols upon entering the building. Thank you, enjoy your visit and we look forward to seeing you!

Recycle Del Kn Mar Morrow Counties  

Recycling Bin w  cameras

 Recycling bins have been placed to the rear of the Memorial Park off Tough Street. The bins are furnished through a partnership between the Village, the Knox County Recycling and Litter Prevention, the DKMM Solid Waste District, Rumpke Recycling, and the Danville High School's environmental classes. Additional information may be found at DKMM.org The recycling bins will be under camera surveillance by the Danville Police Department. Chief Daniel J. Weckesser encourages all who use the recycling bins to please adhere to all posted rules for the use of this service to ensure its continued availability to our citizens.
