Community Spring Cleanup Day is Near
- For who? Residents of Danville, Brinkhaven & Union Twp.
- Date: Saturday April 12th 8a.m. to Noon
- Location: Danville Memorial Park (at recycling bins)
- Cost: $20.00 per pickup truck load
- Not Accepted: Batteries, tires, chemicals, and combustibles
- We will assist, but we will not be responsible for unloading
- Organized by Danville Village, Brinkhaven Village, and Union Township

1/21/2024 Garrett Brewer of Howard, Scout Troop #344, upon completion of his Eagle Scout project was awarded the Eagle Scout Award and Certificate. He had built a “Stretching Station” at the Kokosing Gap Bike Trailhead on Trail Drive in Danville. Thank you, Garrett Brewer, for A JOB WELL DONE!! Thank you for your contribution to our community!!
Recycle
Recycling bins have been placed to the rear of the Memorial Park off Tough Street.
The bins are furnished through a partnership between the Village, the Knox County Recycling and Litter Prevention, the DKMM Solid Waste District, Rumpke Recycling, and the Danville High School's environmental classes. Additional information may be found at DKMM.org The recycling bins will be under camera surveillance by the Danville Police Department. Chief Monte Vance encourages all who use the recycling bins to please adhere to all posted rules for the use of this service to ensure its continued availability to our citizens.
